Can I book an online session? Does this impact the effectiveness of the counselling?
Sessions are still effective and feel remarkably intimate when done over the Phone, Skype or WhatsApp. In person, sessions are available for those that are nearby or visiting the Gold Coast.
How long are the sessions?
The length of a session varies between 1hr, 1.5hrs or 2hrs depending on what is needed. I will discuss the times with you prior to the session.
What are your availabilities?
Sessions are to be booked in Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT+10) between normal business working hours (9am - 5pm) depending on my schedule. Please get in contact to find out if this process is a good fit and to book a session time.
How do I pay for my session?
Payment for long distance clients is via PayPal using an email request that I have sent to you previous to your session and is to be paid in full before the session time.
Can I cancel my session?
Cancelling and rescheduling policy: please note that a strict 24hrs cancellation policy is in place. If you cancel outside of these guidelines, you will be charged for the cost of the session. I will do everything possible to find another time to reschedule as long as it is done within the 24hrs. Please email me at least a day in advance of the session to cancel without a fee.
How can I prepare for my session?
Preparation can depend on the type of session we will be doing and the “homework” I have set you in our previous session. As a general starting point I encourage my clients to come with a present, open mind and to turn off distractions such as phones!
Are there religious affiliations with this process?
My practices are based in holistic spirituality, without strong affiliation to any organized religion. Having said this, my “Being Present” practice has affiliations with mindfulness and in turn, Buddhist practice. Being Present in itself is a practice which is universal and appropriate for people of all faiths. The Shamanic work that I do is rooted in ancient traditions from indigenous cultures around the world, however there is no strict organized religion involved in this.
